Details:

Panadol Soluble provides fast and effective relief of headaches, toothache, backache, rheumatic and muscle pains and period pain. It also relieves sore throat and the feverishness, aches and pains of cold and lfu. Panadol Soluble tablets laso provide relief from the pain associated with osteoarthritis as diagnosed by your doctor.

Panadol Soluble tablets contain paracetamol which is an analgesic (a pain reliever which reduces aches and shivers0 and an antipyretic (it reduces body temperature when you have a fever.

Directions:

Adults (including the elderly) and children aged 12 years and over: 1-2 tablets dissolved in at least half a tumbler of water everty 4 to 6 hours as required. Do not take more than 8 tablets in 24hours.

Children (6 to 12 years): ½ to 1 tablet dissolved in at least half a tumbler of water every 4 to 6 hours as required. Do not take more than 4 tablets in 24 hours.

Children under 6 years: Not recommended for children under the age of  6 years.

Do not exceed the stated dose.

Do not take more frequently than every  4 hours.

Do not take with any other product containing paracetamol.

Do not take for more than 3 days without consulting your doctor. Please see your doctor if your symptoms do not improve.

Prolonged use, expect under medical supervision, may be harmful.

This medicine should only be taken when necessary.

If you take more Panadol Soluble then you should immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of an overdose, if you feel well,

Take special care & tell your pharmacist or doctor before taking Panadol Soluble

*If you have liver or kidney problems.

*If you have heart or blood pressure problems.

*If you have heart or blood pressure problems.

*If you retain fluid.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking these tablets if you are taking any prescribed medicines; particularly metoclopramide or domperidone (for nausea [feeling sick] or vomiting [being sick]); colestyramine (to lower blood cholesterol).  

If you take blood thinning drugs (anticoagulants e.g. warfarin) and you need to take a pain reliever on a daily basis, talk to your doctor because of the risk of bleeding.

However you can still take occasional doses of Panadol Soluble tablets at the same time as anticoagulants.

Each Panadol Soluble tablet contains 427mg of sodium per tablet. To be taken into consideration by patients on a controlled sodium diet. Each Panadol Soluble tablet contains sorbitol powder (E4200 at 50mg per tablet. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicinal product.

Pregnancy & breastfeeding
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding: Panadol Soluble tablets may be taken when you are pregnant or breastfeeding but as with all medicines you should ask your doctor’s advice.

Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use Panadol Soluble after the expiry date (EXP) which is shown on the carton and sachets.  The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.

Do not store above 25°C. Store in the original packaging in order to protect from moisture.
